Patti Randall

Patti Randall brings over 25 years of accumulated experience in financial management and technology. Patti has broad experience with merger and acquisitions, leading the financial due diligence on several transactions.

Patti was one of the founding members of CourseSmart LLC, an e-commerce site for digital textbooks for the higher education market. She served as Chief Financial Officer and Secretary of the Board. CourseSmart was sold to Ingram Industries in 2014, and Patti joined Ingram as Vice President of Finance and Administration. Before joining CourseSmart, Patti served as CFO of Active Reasoning, a company providing software to automate IT compliance. Prior to that, she was CFO of PERSIST Technologies, a leading provider of software designed for long term storage and access of reference materials, which was acquired by Hewlett-Packard. Patti also served as CFO and Principal for netempact, Inc. which provided end to end consulting services and web-based solutions. As Director of Finance and Controller of Women.com, Patti was responsible for budgeting, forecasting, cash management and financial analysis. Patti was CFO and on the founding team of SOFTBANK Marketing Solutions, a leader in electronic registration solutions, which was acquired by Naviant, Inc. Earlier in her career, Patti held the positions of Vice President of Finance for Information Access Company (a Thomson Financial company) and Worldwide Corporate Controller for SOFTBANK Expos.

Patti holds an MBA in Finance from Notre Dame de Namur University and a Bachelor of Science in Information Systems Management from California State University, East Bay. She also completed the Executive Development Program at Columbia University’s Graduate School of Business.
