Mark began his career as an accountant in Baltimore, MD before moving to the Bay Area in 2016 when he joined SVFG. During his first 2 years at SVFG, Mark helped grow the FP&A part of SVFG’s consulting business, eventually being promoted to Finance Manager. After his time with SVFG he joined Veem, a former client, as the Manager of Business Analysis, a role that allowed him to blend his finance knowledge with his technical data analytics skills. After Veem, he joined Expedia in a data science role, allowing him to gain additional expertise in data analytics. Mark rejoined SVFG in 2021 to introduce Data Analytics into SVFG’s consulting practice. In this role he works with our clients to integrate data analysis practices into their financial modeling. Mark is also an improving home cook, hiker, cinephile, weightlifter, proud new father and obessed with Dance Dance Revolution.
